It’s an art club for adults!
A monthly after-hours get-together on the first Friday of every month in our $MART ART Space.
Ages 16+, no experience necessary & all skill levels welcome. Free to attend & open to the public. This is not a critique group or a workshop. Our goal is to make art more approachable for everyone by exploring a new niche each month! Maybe you’ll pick up a new technique, a few new terms, or some random art knowledge. Join us to chit chat and share your tips & tricks. Hopefully something will inspire you!
April is National Poetry Month!
We will be celebrating by exploring Blackout Poetry during this month’s First Friday. Blackout Poetry is a style of found poetry, and does not require you to have any previous writing experience. It can feature drawings and patterns, but it also does not require any drawing skills, as it can be accomplished with a heavy black sharpie and simple lines. Bring your old books & book pages and find new beauty in their texts!
